Obituary for Bonnie M. Neinast (Scowcroft)

Waterloo – Bonnie M. Neinast, 69 of Waterloo, NY, entered in the arms of the Heavenly Father, while surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday (July 26, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.

Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Monday (August 1) from 11 AM to 1 PM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 1 PM with Reverend Roy Kiggins of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will follow in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to Down Syndrome Association of Central New York Inc., P.O. Box 5, Manlius, NY 13104-0005.

Bonnie was born in Seneca Falls, NY on January 17, 1947 the daughter of the late Ralph & Betty Reynolds Scowcroft. She had resided in the Waterloo-Seneca Falls area all of her life. She had worked as a Supervisor for the Waterloo Central School System. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Waterloo, NY. Bonnie had been an avid bowler belonging to many bowling leagues over the years. To Bonnie, her family was everything. She was a devoted wife, mother, & grandmother. Bonnie never missed a sporting event, chorus/band concert, play or awards ceremony. Her most favorite sporting events to attend were the volleyball games that her daughters and granddaughter played. Holidays were Bonnie’s favorite family times. To have everyone together made her glow with pride in what she had created. Bonnie also loved the times that she spent camping & fishing with her husband over the years. She could also be found on the dance floor whenever music was on the air. Bonnie taught her children and some of their friends how to dance. The neighborhood kids also held a piece of her heart. There were always a few extra kids around the house. She loved them all.
