Seneca Falls – Phyllis E. Barton, 78, formerly of Fall St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday (December 1, 2016) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may attend her Memorial Mass on Friday (December 9) at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Pathway Home, 1529 State Route 414 N, Seneca Falls, NY or to Huntington Living Center, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Phyllis was born in Auburn, NY on March 31, 1938 the daughter of the late Anthony & Edna Lewis Condes. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls and had lived for a while in Florida. She was a member of the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 VFW Auxiliary of Seneca Falls and the Waterloo Memorial Post #6433 Auxiliary, Waterloo, NY. Phyllis was an avid knitter and crafter. She loved working on word search puzzles.
She is survived by:
3 daughters – Lynn (Paul) Hudson – Rockledge, Florida
Lauri (Joseph Jr.) Nigro – Seneca Falls, NY
Jacqueline (George) Bangos – Indialantic, Florida
7 grandchildren – Krista Hudson, Michael (Christa) Joseph III (Tracey), & Lindsay Nigro, & Matthew, Zachary, & Alexandra Bangos
5 great grandchildren
3 step-sons – Gary Barton – Florida
Dale (Cindy) Barton – Fulton, NY
Craig Barton – Florida
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Tuleya, a brother, Bernard Condes, & her step-son, David Barton.
