Seneca Falls – Antoinette “Toni” R. Elardo, 87 formerly of Cayuga St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Friday (April 21, 2017) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.

Family and friends may join the family for Toni’s graveside service on Thursday (April 27) at 11:30AM at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to the Special Needs Unit at Huntington Living Center, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165

Toni was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 24, 1929 the daughter of the late Frank & Vita Russo. She resided most of her life in Seneca Falls where she was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. Over the years Toni had provided home to various people in Seneca Falls. She also was a member of the Rumseyville Sportsman’s Club and the S.M.S. Auxiliary, both of Seneca Falls. Toni enjoyed the game of Bocce and played it for many years at the Rumseyville Sportsman’s Club and the S.M.S. She enjoyed baking, cooking and was an avid antique collector.

She is survived by:
1 daughter – Cindy Elardo & her husband, Philip Peterman – Seneca Falls, NY
4 sons – David (Maureen Parrow) Elardo – Waterloo, NY
Donald Elardo – Waterloo, NY
Mark (Frances Rivkin) Elardo – Seneca Falls, NY
Donald Patella – Seneca Falls, NY
5 grandchildren – Racheal Elardo, Mykenzee Baran, Christopher, Michael, & Joseph Elardo
2 sisters – Immaculate Russo – Rochester, NY
Frances Hill – Rochester, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Toni was predeceased by her husband, Dominic “Pappy” Elardo who died May 26, 1999, her son, Gary Elardo who died in 1994, her sister, Madeline Gallina, & her brother, Joseph Russo.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of the Special Needs Unit at Huntington Living Center for the wonderful care they provided to Toni.
