Obituary for Mary A. Ezzo (Perdicho)

Seneca Falls/Buffalo – Mary Perdicho Ezzo, 100, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday (December 20, 2017) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY.

All who can are invited to join the family and friends as we celebrate Mary’s 100 years at a Memorial Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Wednesday (December 27) at 10 AM with Rev. James Fennessy, Pastor and Reverend Peter Van Lieshout, Pastor of St. Francis Church, Clifton Springs, NY as concelebrants. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Pathway Home, 1529 Mound Rd., Seneca Falls, NY 13148 or to the charity of one’s choice.

Mary was born March 1, 1917 in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Francisco & Angeline Perdicho. She spent her early years in Seneca Falls and then moved to Buffalo, NY where she and her late husband, Salvator Ezzo, made their home. This past summer she moved to her new residence at Vienna Gardens in Phelps, NY. Mary’s Favorite things to do were: crocheting, gardening, playing cards, and riding her bike. But what she liked the most was talking to people.

Mary is survived by the following Seneca Falls nephews & nieces:
James (Carolyn) DiCesare, Joseph (Rose Marie) Perdicho, & Mary Elizabeth (Ed) Pacitto
Karen (Bruce) Hoven – Florida
Lenny Perdicho – North Carolina
Mary Ann Dual – North Carolina
Sister-in-law – Mary Perdicho – Seneca Falls, NY
Niece-in-law – Mary Saracino – Seneca Falls, NY
Her Buffalo nieces and nephews:
Gregory (Pat) Hess, Marty (Karen) Hess, Mark (Jeanette) Hess, & Larry Hess along with additional nieces and nephews.
“Aunt Mary was so enjoyed and loved by her family
Mary, also, had many wonderful friends along with some special long-time friends: Mark Sr. & Daisy Castricone, Mark Castricone Jr., Tiffany (Lonnie) Owen III, Kelly Stiles, & Jim & Lisa Greene. In recent years she was also befriended by Bonnie Eschboen.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Salvador Ezzo, sisters, Frances Perdicho DiCesare, Vinny Perdicho Hess & Elizabeth Perdicho Ezzo, and brothers, Sam Perdicho & Joseph Perdicho along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses & staff at all units at Clifton Springs Hospital for providing Mary with their wonderful care.
