Seneca Falls – Mary Frances Paradise, 49, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, (February 26, 2018) at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, after a long illness
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, on Sunday (March 4, 2018) from 2:00 PM– 5:00 PM. Mary Frances’s Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday (March 5, 2018), at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY at 10:00 AM. with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to a Charity of one’s choice.
Mary was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 13, 1968, the daughter of Frank and Helen Vaughan Paradise. She was a life resident and a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Seneca Falls. She was a 1987 graduate of Mynderse Academy. Mary enrolled in the Geneva School of Nursing, where she received her LPN License. Mary went on to be employed with Clifton Springs Hospital, working for a private medical practice, then on to Geneva General Hospital, and Seneca Nursing Home in Waterloo, NY. She had many health issues, and spent numerous weeks in Pittsburgh, where she had an organ transplant. Since then she has gone through extensive hospital visits and spent the last 11 months at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio with her mother & many close friends at her side. Mary had many hobbies, but enjoyed on-line shopping the most. She loved being around her family and her close friends, which there were many. Helen (Arkie) would like to thank the staff at Cleveland Clinic, her extended family in Ohio, and many close friends for their support throughout this time.

Mary was predeceased by her father, Frank J. Paradise, who died January 21, 1999 along with several aunts and uncles of the Paradise and Vaughan Families.
